Should minors (younger than 18 yrs old) enjoy free speech rights?

The first amendment of our constitution establishes free speech, but does and should, this apply to persons who are not of "legal age"? Shouldn free speech be a right of those who are also resposible for what they say. Are there any established legal opinions on this matter?
Answer:
You do have free speech rights. Just make sure you know what those rights are. You have the right to speech without governmental control, however, that doesnt mean that you can say whatever you want, whenever you want, whereever you want. You have to not break the other laws that would get you in trouble for the speech. Such as tresspassing, defamation, libel, inciting to riot, falsely claiming emergency.
Yes. people who are young still have rights
The only place minors cannot say whatever they want is in School. Because students have the right to learn, free from language that would distract or hinder them from learning. Furthermore, if feel that if you dont pay taxes then you really arnt in a postion to argue.
With freedom, comes responsibilities. Most under 18 cant cross the street without proper guidance. Once they open their pieholes, they need to be held accountable for what they say. Their faces spew idiocy and disrespect as it is now. My answer is an undeniable and irrevocable NO.
Yes! They definitely should!
i think we should i am so sick of people saying im disrespectful because i have my own opinion and dont always agree with my elders
Sure...everyone is coverd by the constitution, you don't need to be a certain age to enjoy those rights.
Just look at all the cases about school newspapers...all agreed that they have the right to free speech but not necessarily to use the SCHOOL's paper to print anything they like.
