Should Karl Rove be charged in the AG Gonzales scandal?

Why is congress protecting this guy. He is not elected and therefore gets no presidential privledge.
Answer:
I am not in favour of charging Karl Rove just yet, BUT I do believe that Congress needs to appoint a special prosecutor to start an investigation NOW before any more emails are deleted. I think the Computers that were supplied by the Republican National Committee should be confiscated and handed over to an independent prosecutor to see what can be retrieved. once the investigation is complete I believe all will be known and we will also see the lid to Pandora's Box blown off of the most corrupt Administration this country has ever seen! Then we can charge them all and maybe even bring back Tar and Feathering for BushCo!
mostly because he had nothing to do with any of this, pal. and FYI, Gonzalez was fully within his rights and authority to fire those 8 lawyers with or without a reason, okay?
What law has been broken?
The fact that there appears to be a link leading from Gonzalez to Rove about these firings suggests Rove should be on temporary leave right now. The Valerie Plame thing should have been enough to oust him, since that was a direct violation of the law, but of course the Congress didn't have the spine or the will to do anything. I think more telling will be the content of e-mails Rove deleted.

Rove is still entitled to executive privilege, since as deputy chief of staff he is still privy to sensitive national security information.
About $1.98 before taxes.
