Should Incapacitated N.J. Gov. Jon S. Corzine Resign?

New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine was seriously injured in a car wreck 11 days ago with multiple broken bones a collapsed lung and is still on a breathing machine.

Yet he announced today that he is considering governing one of the county's most populous states with the most highly populated urban areas in the New York City Metropolitan area FROM THE HOSPITAL BY VIDEO CONFERENCING!!!

There is no telling when he will be even able to leave the hospital, much less get around on his own. Accidents like this take YEARS to recover from. Corzine is not expected to be able to walk for at least a year, and even then it will be with much pain and difficulty.

One of the bones he broke, his femur or upper leg bone, is the most painful bone in your body to break, as it is the largest and most of the body's blood supply is generated in the femurs' marrow. In Corzine's case he broke the bone in multiple places and it exited through the skin in places. Corzine will be on narcotics for years
Answer:
He should resign for being dumb enough to go 90 mph, without a seatbelt.
Bush isn't running on all of his cylinders-and they let him keep running the country....
You really cannot "announce" anything if your on a ventilator unless for some reason you have a speaking valve trach....which I seriously doubt he has. If he is talking - he is breathing on his own.

He's busted up, he will heal, life goes on -- happend to hundreds of people every day.

As someone mentioned - he should consider a resignation for his behavior on that highway. He allowed his driver to take a huge risk with everyone on that road, and as he now well knows bad things do happen.
