Should it be illegal to allow dogs to travel in the bed of a truck?

If dogs are allow then they should allow kids/people too...

Yes it should be illegal!! I have seen an accident where there was a dog in the back of the truck, and it got killed. I've seen accidents where kids were in the back of the truck and got killed. so what is the difference between a canine and a human???

No. I think that if a dog owner doesnt know better they should learn the hard way. This goes for any thing that they decide to do or not do with their dog.

People are allowed in the back of a truck they have to be adults sitting against the back of the cab but as long as they are sitting down there allowed to now for dogs MY dogs love riding in the bed of a truck on nice days they never attempt to jump out when Im moving or stopped they dont even want to get out once we are home I just leave the tailgate down and they get out when there ready

It may look cool to have your dog in the back of your truck but it's not smart if you care about the dog then you want him to be safe and the back of a truck is not a safe place in an accident.
